The Acoustic Venue, The Market House
Doug McLeod

“Now there's a man who can really play the blues.” - David Honeyboy Edwards
Doug MacLeod (St Louis, MO) is one of the last remaining Bluesmen who learned from the old masters, lived the music, survived the life, and now continues to carry forward that valuable tradition.
Baton Rouge

It’s simply the Mississippi Delta Blues passion that brings together Mario, Marco & Stefano (Varese, Italy). They play music from The Blues masters, by the likes of Willie Dixon, Howlin Wolf, Sleepy john Estes and the great Robert Johnson.
Jack Lawrence & Tony Williamson

Jack's style is eclectic, encompassing Americana, blues, bluegrass and "sophisticated folk." Jack Lawrence (Charlotte, NC) is highly regarded in his most prominent role as partner to Doc Watson.
Mandolin virtuoso Tony Williamson (Silver City, NC) sure can play, and what he doesn’t know about mandolins, nobody does.
Marc Stone & Christof Waibel

Marc Stone's (New Orleans) experience playing zydeco in the bands of C.J. Chenier, Dwayne Dopsie and Terrance Simien brings a hard-edged, rhythmic flow that keeps his blues from dragging too much tail.
Christof Weibel (Germany) on piano seams to be his soul mate, there is only one word for what the two of them present the audience: Brilliant!
The Acoustic Venue will be held in the Market House, in the centre of town.
The cost in to the Market House will be €10 on Friday and €12 each on Saturday and Sunday ; your ticket can then be used as a 50% discount into the Marquee that night only. The performance times will vary from day to day, however they will end at 10pm to facilitate those who wish to head to the Blues Trail or mosey on down to the Marquee.
